Fishing for Wild Brown Trout, Wild Rainbow Trout and Grayling on the PFFC Beats of the Derbyshire Wye. Around 6.5 miles of fishing with Dry Fly Only and fishing from the banks, no wading. 

River Wye

  • £75 per rod per day (1st April – 11th May and 16th June – 7th October.

  • £150 per rod per day (12th May – 15th June) 

  • £40 per rod per day (8th October – 31st January) 

Fishing for Wild Brown Trout, Wild Rainbow Trout and Grayling on the PFFC Beat of the River Derwent. 3 miles of wading water with dry flies and wet flies. 

River Derwent

  • £75 per rod per day (1st April – 11th May and 16th June – 7th October.

  • £150 per rod per day (12th May – 15th June) 

  • £40 per rod per day (8th October – 14th March) 

Private Beats

Experience exclusive fly fishing on the private waters of Haddon Hall and the Manners family estates, offering secluded stretches of the River Wye and River Lathkill. These historic beats provide exceptional dry-fly fishing for Wild Browns, Wild Rainbows, and Grayling in some of Derbyshire’s most beautiful surroundings.

  • Fish within the grounds of Haddon Hall on the Manner’s family’s private water. The beat is around 1.5km in length and extends downstream of the main Haddon Hall bridge down to the end of the Medieval Park. The beat contains Wild Rainbows, Wild Browns and Grayling. Fishing is by dry fly only from the banks, no wading. 

    £350 per rod per day 

  • Fish within the grounds of Haddon Hall on the Manner’s family’s private water. The beat is around 1km in length and extends upstream of the main Haddon Hall bridge towards Bakewell. The beat contains Wild Rainbows, Wild Browns and Grayling. Fishing is by dry fly only from the banks, no wading. 

    £350 per rod per day 

  • Fishing on the River Lathkill is not for the faint hearted! Stalking Wild Brown Trout in the crystal-clear waters of the River Lathkill is a test for any angler. The Duke’s Beat is the Manners family beat on the Lathkill and is very lightly fished. The beat extends to around 1.5km in length and contains only Brown Trout described by Charles Cotton (Compleat Angler) as the “reddest and bestest in the country”.
